About Of Pradhan mantri Awas Yojana

In our country, many people live in mud-clay houses that do not have their own pucca house.And during the rainy season, water comes to the houses.Keeping all these problems in mind, the Government of India has implemented Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) to provide houses to all by the year 2022.Which will give everyone a home.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is an initiative of the Government of India, in which 20 million pucca houses will be provided to the urban poor by 31 March 2022.Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is classified into two parts,

•1. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U)
•2. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G)

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) is classified into four components.

  • 1.” In Situ ” Slum Redevelopment -(ISSR)
  • 2.Affordable Housing Throw Credit Link Subsidy- (CLSS)
  • 3.Affordable Housing Patnership-(AHP)
  • 4.Beneficiary led Construction -(BLC)

” In Situ ” Slum Redevelopment -(ISSR)

Under the component of In-situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR) using government land with the participation of private developers (contractors), all the poor who do not have their own house, the government will give 1 lakh rupees to buy the house.

Affordable Housing Throw Credit Link Subsidy- (CLSS)

EWS/LIG

Beneficiaries of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Low Income Group (LIG) demand housing loans from banks, housing finance companies and other such institutions, which provide interest subsidy at the rate of 6.5% for tenure of 20 or more. Will be eligible for Whichever loan period is shorter.

MIG

MIG’s recently launched CLSS MIG covers two income segments.

  • 1.Rs.6,00,001 to Rs.12,00,000 (MIG-I) and
  • 2.Rs.12,00,001 to Rs.18,00,000 (MIG-II) per year

In MIG-I, the loan amount will be Rs. Interest subsidy of 4% has been provided on the amount up to 9 lakhs. Whereas in MIG-II, an interest subsidy of 3% has been provided for a loan amount of 12 lakhs. Interest subsidy will be calculated at 9% NPV on maximum loan tenure of 20 years or actual tenure, whichever is less. .

The CLSS for MIG will support house construction / construction (including re-purchase) of 90 sq m and 110 sq m carpet area as per income bracket.

Affordable Housing Patnership-(AHP)

Central assistance at the rate of Rs 1.5 lakh per EWS house will be available to all.

The Mission Is provide financial assistance at the rate of Rs. 1.5 Lakh 1 EWS house being built under these different partnerships by States/Cities. An affordable housing project can be  mix of houses for different categories but it will b eligible for central assistance,if at least 35% of the houses in the project are for EWS category and a single project has at least 250 houses.

Beneficiary led  Construction (BLC)

In this component, the beneficiary who has his own plot or kachcha house will be given assistance of 3.50 lakh to build a new house. The Sahay will be converted into different bank accounts in your bank account.
